1. Lesson Types & What to Expect

Each lesson is designed to be supportive, structured, and tailored to your needs. I currently offer:

Conversational Speaking Practice

Reading Comprehension

Listening Skills

Writing Support

Time-Based Content:

15-minute sessions – Conversation only

30-minute sessions – Conversation, reading and/or listening

45-minute sessions – All of the above, including writing tasks or corrections

Please let me know what you'd like to focus on when booking. Even for conversation, a topic helps me prepare. If you don’t specify, I’ll guide the session based on your level and goals.

2. Free Trial Lesson Policy

All new learners receive one free 15-minute trial lesson so we can get to know each other and see if we’re a good fit.

Important:

One free trial per learner

Only one email address per person

Any attempts to claim multiple free lessons using new emails or identities will result in:

The call ending immediately

A ban on all future bookings

Please respect this offer so it remains available for genuine learners.

3. Cancellations & Refunds

Cancel 24 hours or more before your session = Full refund or free reschedule

Cancel less than 24 hours before = One-time grace refund or reschedule

After the one-time grace: No refund for late cancellations

If I cancel a lesson = Full refund or reschedule—your choice

4. Respectful Behaviour & Safe Space

To keep our lessons welcoming and professional:

Discrimination, harassment, or inappropriate behaviour (including sexual or aggressive language) will not be tolerated.

One warning will be given. Continued behaviour will result in the session ending immediately with no refund, and further bookings may be blocked.

Let’s keep the space kind and respectful.

5. Payment & Booking

Payment must be made in full at the time of booking

Your booking is confirmed only once payment is received

Lessons are for the individual who booked them only

I offer 15, 30, or 45-minute classes—great for flexibility and work-life balance

6. Technical Issues & Late Arrivals

10+ minutes late without notice = No-show, and no refund

Technical problems? Don’t worry—we’ll reschedule at no cost (as long as the issue wasn’t avoidable)

Please check your internet, device, and Zoom before your class

7. Zoom & Recording Policy

All lessons take place over Zoom.

You are responsible for setting up Zoom ahead of your session

By attending, you agree to Zoom’s terms of service and privacy policy

I do not record any sessions

You are not permitted to record the session unless we’ve both given written permission

This protects your privacy and comfort.

8. Privacy & Data

I only collect your name, email, and time zone to schedule your lessons

Your information is never shared, sold, or used for anything other than lesson-related communication

All communication remains private

9. Language Disclaimer

Learning a language takes time and consistency. While I will always support and guide you, please note:

I cannot guarantee fluency or specific results

Progress depends on effort inside and outside of lessons
